Quick update to ensure everyone is aware of our venue change for our roundtable meeting next week (Feb 4th, 7pm). There were no rooms available at the library so we contacted Rose and Crown to see if we could use their establishment instead. This is where we usually go on Tuesday nights after the meeting, at 10235 101 Street, just a few buildings away from the library. If you haven’t been there before, the room is located inside the pub and to the right, through the double glass doors.
Our topic this month is member stories, a chance to get to know each other a bit better and share our background story of how we left religion or grew up with none at all. As this is a pub, children will not be able to attend this event, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Hope to see you out!

I should have noticed sooner, Tuesday is the Bill Nye debate.
has anyone found a way to stream it that does not fund the cretin museum?
the typo was intentional.
The debate is actually on at 5pm, and from what I can see if you stream it right at that time it’s free. It costs to download it after the fact. I’m debating ”snagging” it, leaving hubby in charge of making sure computer doesn’t go into sleep mode and then having an event where we can view it on another day.
I’m not too happy about the sales going towards the cretin musie-dum, everywhere I have looked basically links it to their begging for fund page. I have a feeling we won’t see an unedited version on youtube.
if there is an unofficial screening of it, I would recommend tomato proof screens. and perhaps a bulk order of rubber stress balls. Something tells me both will be needed.
